Where we started
Lily and Lark was born in 2020 during lockdown, a time when many of us were seeking comfort and creative outlets. What began as a simple idea—making my own candle vessels—led me to discover Jesmonite, a versatile and sustainable material, and I immediately fell in love with its endless possibilities. From that first creation, I knew I had found something special.
Sharing this passion has always been a core part of what I do. In 2021, I began teaching workshops through ClassBento, helping others create coasters, cake trays, candles, and more. Today, I run classes for larger groups, offering hands-on experiences in eco-friendly crafting.
Our shop is filled with items made with care: eco resin homewares, 100% soy candles scented with essential oils, and handmade pouches. Every piece reflects a love of creativity, sustainability, and attention to detail—perfect for bringing a touch of handmade warmth into your home.

When I started Lily and Lark, the vision was clear: to create a brand centered on consciously crafted, small-batch homeware and unique handmade crafts. My goal has always been to ensure that everyone can enjoy the warmth and charm of thoughtfully made pieces, which is why accessibility is such an important part of what we do. Creating products that fit every budget felt like the perfect way to bring that vision to life.
We’re also deeply committed to supporting Australian suppliers and local makers. By sourcing materials and collaborating with businesses close to home, we’re able to contribute to a vibrant and sustainable creative community while showcasing the incredible talent right here in Australia.
